Luai Nazir, president of the ittihad Jeddah Racing Club, announced his candidacy to head the nonprofit company on Wednesday, succeeding the previous administration headed by Anmar Al-Haili.
Luai posted via his official account on the "X" platform: I announce my desire to run for the presidency of the Etihad Club for next season. Tomorrow, I will formally submit to the Board of Directors of the Club, the Ministry of Sport and the Public Investment Fund a request to allow me to access all the information available to them to assess the current situation with the various authorities and prepare for the next season - in case of winning the elections - with full readiness to sign confidentiality agreements. I will also request a meeting with the Executive Directorate of the Club to identify them and discuss with them in particular the preparations for next season. I look forward to the formation of a new Board of Directors that includes new young blood that deserves everyone's respect and is able to operationalize the role of a non-profit company.
